How to Install a John Guest Brass Wingback Elbow

  1. Preparation: Ensure the tubing or pipe is cut squarely and free from imperfections.
  2. Mounting: Secure the integral wall plate to the desired mounting surface.
  3. Insertion: Insert the tubing into the push-fit end of the elbow until it reaches the tube stop.
  4. Connection Confirmation: Gently tug on the tube to confirm a secure and airtight connection.
  5. Threaded End Connection: Thread the FBSP end into the receiving fitting, ensuring proper alignment and hand-tightening for a secure fit.
  6. Disconnection: To remove, push the collet squarely against the fitting and pull the tube to release.
