These tees have a push-in tube end suited to tubing with an outer diameter of 4mm to 12mm while the threaded end is 1/8" to 1/2" in diameter. They are used to connect tubing to a female threaded fitting at an angle of 90° from the branch whilst maintaining the run of tubing.
The threaded ends of these brass fittings are designed to be hand tightened and have a maximum torque value of 6.0Nm. They have a male Superthread end allowing them to be used in conjunction with BSPP, BSPT, NPT, PT and PF fittings. The thread includes a polyurethane seal to ensure an airtight joint is produced without any possibility of the tape seal entering and contaminating the system.
Tube inserts must be used with pneumatic applications where pressures are in excess of 10 bar; you should not exceed 16 bar. Suitable for use with Polyethylene, Polyurethane, Nylon tubing as well as soft metal tubings such as copper or mild steel.
