Single union ball valves are also referred to as dump valves or end of line valves.
It is recommended that these valves are installed at the end of a pipeline, rather than within it, due to there being only one union connection for demounting and repair. The handle has been specifically designed as an ergonomic teardrop shape, in order to provide a secure grip. These are economy valves, meaning they are batch tested 1 in 1000.
