Description
The Geberit Mapress Stainless Steel Union is designed to provide a secure, leakproof connection between pipes in press-fit systems, allowing for easy disassembly and reassembly when required. This union is particularly suited for applications where high corrosion resistance, durability, and hygiene are critical, such as drinking water installations, industrial systems, and sprinkler applications. Its union nut made of brass ensures a reliable screw connection, making it ideal for environments exposed to high pressures, temperatures, and aggressive liquids.
Key Features
Pressing Indicator: Comes with a visible pressing indicator that ensures the connection has been correctly pressed, preventing leaks and enhancing system reliability.
Seal Ring: Equipped with a CIIR (Chlorobutyl) black seal ring, providing a durable, leakproof connection, even under high pressure and temperature.
Flat Gasket: Features a flat gasket made of EPDM, ensuring secure sealing for media temperatures ranging from 0°C to 100°C, making it suitable for various liquid systems.
Leakproof Protection: Supplied with a transparent protection plug to safeguard the pressing socket from dust and dirt during transportation and storage, ensuring a clean installation.
High Molybdenum Content: Constructed from CrNiMo steel 1.4401, with a minimum molybdenum content of 2.3%, offering superior corrosion resistance, especially in aggressive environments.
Versatile Applications: Suitable for drinking water installations, industrial systems, and approved for use in sprinkler systems (wet, wet/dry, and dry). It supports thermal and chemical disinfection, making it ideal for hygienic environments.
Fire-Safe Installation: No welding or soldering is required, making the installation faster and eliminating the risk of fire hazards.
