Description
The Geberit Mapress Stainless Steel Plain Male Union With Brass Nut is designed to connect press-fit stainless steel systems to male-threaded components. With its durable brass union nut and EPDM flat gasket, this adaptor ensures a secure and leakproof connection in a wide range of applications. It is particularly suitable for installations in drinking water systems, industrial systems, and areas where high hygiene standards, high pressure, and corrosion resistance are required.
Key Features
Silicone-Free (LABS-Free): The adaptor is silicone-free, making it ideal for applications sensitive to contamination, such as in industrial processes, cleanrooms, and high-purity systems.
Union Nut Made of Brass: The robust brass union nut ensures a strong, corrosion-resistant connection while allowing for easy disassembly and reassembly when needed for maintenance.
Flat Gasket: Equipped with an EPDM flat gasket, this adaptor provides a leakproof seal, even at media temperatures ranging from 0°C to 100°C, ensuring reliable performance in various systems.
High Molybdenum Content: Made from CrNiMo steel 1.4401, with a minimum molybdenum content of 2.3%, this adaptor offers superior resistance to corrosion, especially in aggressive and high-humidity environments.
Comprehensive System Compatibility: The adaptor is part of the Geberit Mapress Stainless Steel system, which includes around 500 fittings and adaptors, making it compatible with a wide range of piping configurations and ensuring flexibility across different installations.
Hygienic and Reliable: Suitable for use in drinking water systems, industrial applications, and sprinkler systems, the Geberit Mapress Stainless Steel system supports both thermal and chemical disinfection, meeting the highest hygiene requirements.
Fire-Safe Installation: No welding or soldering is required, making installation safer and quicker, eliminating the risk of fire hazards.
