Design: Non-return valve with pressing indicator and protective transparent plug
Applications: Drinking water installations, industrial piping, systems requiring unidirectional flow
Connection Technology: Press-fitting system with easy identification for installation assurance
Description
The Geberit Mapress Stainless Steel Non-Return Valve is designed to ensure unidirectional flow in piping systems, preventing backflow and safeguarding the integrity of the system. This valve is ideal for drinking water installations, industrial applications, and systems that require high corrosion resistance and reliability. Constructed from durable materials and designed for ease of installation, this non-return valve is a dependable choice for both residential and commercial setups.
Key Features
High-Quality Stainless Steel Construction: Made from CrNiMo steel 1.4401 (EN 10088), this valve is highly resistant to corrosion, making it suitable for demanding environments and applications with aggressive media.
PTFE Seals for Enhanced Durability:
Valve Seal: Made of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), providing excellent resistance to high temperatures, chemicals, and wear, ensuring a reliable and durable seal.
Flange Section Seal: Also made of PTFE, enhancing the valve’s leakproof performance and longevity.
Pressing Indicator: Equipped with a pressing indicator to visually verify whether the connection is unpressed, allowing for easy and secure installation and reducing the risk of leaks.
Leakproof Seal Ring: Includes a CIIR (chlorobutyl rubber) black seal ring that provides a leakproof seal, adding an extra layer of protection and ensuring the system remains secure.
Transparent Protection Plug: Supplied with a transparent protection plug to prevent dust and debris from contaminating the pressing socket during transport and installation, ensuring a clean and safe connection.
Wide Operating Temperature Range: Operates efficiently between -20 and +120 °C, making it versatile for a variety of applications, including both hot and cold water systems.
