Description
The Geberit Mapress Stainless Steel Male Threaded Union with Brass Nut is designed to provide a secure and reliable connection between press-fit stainless steel systems and threaded components. Ideal for drinking water installations, industrial systems, and applications exposed to high temperatures and pressures, this union offers durability, corrosion resistance, and flexibility. With a brass union nut and a flat EPDM gasket, it ensures a leakproof seal and easy disassembly for maintenance or reconfiguration.
Key Features
Pressing Indicator: Equipped with a visible pressing indicator to confirm the correct pressing of the fitting, ensuring a leakproof and secure connection.
Seal Ring: Features a CIIR (Chlorobutyl) black seal ring, offering durable and reliable sealing, even in high-pressure and high-temperature applications.
Flat Gasket: Includes an EPDM flat gasket, designed to withstand media temperatures from 0°C to 100°C, providing excellent sealing properties for various fluid systems.
Brass Union Nut: The union nut is made of brass, providing strong, corrosion-resistant performance in threaded connections, allowing for easy disassembly and reassembly.
Leakproof Protection: Comes with a transparent protection plug to keep the pressing socket clean and free from contaminants during transport and storage, ensuring a secure installation.
High Molybdenum Content: Made from CrNiMo steel 1.4401, with a minimum molybdenum content of 2.3%, offering enhanced corrosion resistance, particularly in aggressive environments such as industrial or marine applications.
Versatile Applications: Suitable for use in drinking water installations, heating and cooling systems, industrial systems, and sprinkler systems (wet, wet/dry, and dry). It supports both thermal and chemical disinfection.
Fire-Safe Installation: No welding or soldering is required, which makes the installation process quicker and safer, eliminating the risk of fire hazards.
