Description
The Geberit Mapress Stainless Steel Female Threaded Union with CrNi Nut is designed for connecting stainless steel press-fit systems to female-threaded components. It is ideal for applications requiring corrosion resistance, durability, and hygiene, such as drinking water installations, industrial systems, and sprinkler systems. The CrNi stainless steel nut provides additional strength and long-lasting reliability, making it suitable for high-pressure and high-temperature environments.
Key Features
Pressing Indicator: Features a visible pressing indicator, ensuring that the connection is securely and correctly pressed, providing a leakproof installation.
Seal Ring: Equipped with a CIIR (Chlorobutyl) black seal ring, offering high durability and reliable sealing, even in high-pressure and high-temperature applications.
Flat Gasket: Includes a flat gasket made of EPDM, suitable for media temperatures between 0°C and 100°C, ensuring a secure, reliable seal for a wide range of fluid systems.
CrNi Nut: The CrNi stainless steel nut provides enhanced corrosion resistance and strength, allowing for reliable disassembly and reassembly during system maintenance.
Leakproof Protection: Delivered with a transparent protection plug to prevent dust and dirt from contaminating the pressing socket during transport and storage, ensuring a clean installation.
High Molybdenum Content: Manufactured from CrNiMo steel 1.4401, with a minimum molybdenum content of 2.3%, offering superior corrosion resistance in aggressive and industrial environments.
Versatile Applications: Suitable for drinking water installations, heating and cooling systems, industrial piping, and sprinkler systems (wet, wet/dry, and dry). Also supports thermal and chemical disinfection, making it ideal for hygiene-sensitive areas.
Fire-Safe Installation: No welding or soldering required, allowing for quicker and safer installation with no risk of fire hazards.
