Hinged pipe clips are essential for securely holding pipework, especially useful in concealed pipe installations. These clips are designed to provide a robust and reliable mounting solution for both plastic and copper pipes in various applications, including hot and cold water systems and central heating pipework.
Key Features
Secure Mounting: Ensures that pipework is firmly held in place, preventing movement and noise.
Stand-Off Spacer: The spacer feature allows for the accommodation of larger fittings or valves and provides enough room for lagging if pipework needs insulation.
Screw Fixing: Offers a secure method of fixing, using screws to hold the clip in place, ensuring a long-lasting mount.
Versatile Use: Suitable for both hot and cold water systems, as well as central heating pipework.
Quality Manufacturing: Designed, manufactured, and assembled in the UK, adhering to high standards of quality.

How to Install Hinged Pipe Clips
Simplified Installation Process:
Securing the Clip: Begin by positioning the tube clip at the desired location on the mounting surface. Secure the clip in place using a screw, ensuring it is firmly fixed before proceeding.
Spacing for Expansion: When placing the clips, ensure they are not fitted any closer than 60mm from the end of the fitting. This spacing is crucial to allow for the natural expansion of the pipes.
Pipe Insertion: Once the clip is securely in place, insert the pipework into it. Ensure the pipe is adequately supported and that the clip provides a snug fit without causing undue stress or side load on the fittings.
Utilising the Spacer: If pipes need to cross over each other, or if insulation is required around the pipework, use the spacer provided with the clip. This spacer creates necessary room between the pipe and the wall, allowing for crossover or the addition of lagging.
Final Check: After installation, double-check to ensure everything is secure and that there is adequate support for the pipes, preventing any potential stress or damage.
