Basic Fitting Guidelines:

Barrier pipe is a reinforced PE pipe used to protect water supplies laid in contaminated ground (Railway land, Commercial Industries, Animal processing land etc.) Barrier pipe is identified by distinctive black stipe along blue pipe works.

Our Plasson barrier fittings are available in 25, 32 and 63mm sizes, the common measurement for barrier piping.  

Fitting Instruction:

1) Remove the nut and grip ring from fitting and mount the brown nut onto the pipe and assemble grip ring with the pipe end.

2) Push the barbed end of the adaptor into the pipe until it meets the stop. Then push the plain end of the adaptor into the fitting until it meets the stop

3) Screw nut tightly towards the body of the fitting
