The BOSS Universal Jointing Compound is suitable for threaded pipe joints carrying a variety of materials, including air, natural gas, butane/propane, refrigerants, water, hydraulic oil, dilute acids/alkalis, and more. Its versatility makes it an essential product for use in plumbing, gas installations, HVAC systems, and industrial piping.

1. Ensure all fittings are clean and round. Deformed or used fittings may not seal effectively.
2. Clean all surfaces with a solvent and allow them to dry.
3. Apply a 360° bead of BOSS Universal Compound to the male fitting’s threads, leaving the first thread free.
4. After application, allow a few minutes for the solvent to evaporate before assembling.
5. Assemble and tighten the fittings according to manufacturer recommendations. For maximum pressure and solvent resistance, allow the compound to cure for 24 hours.
