These HSS pro TiN drill bits offer effective drilling in metal and tougher alloys. The speed of the drilling can be increased up to 40-60% more than the traditional HSS twist drill bit, whilst the feed can be increased 10-20% without reducing the longevity of the bits.
The TiN coating has a hardness of approximately 80 Rockwell C, making it resistant to wear. It also has excellent friction and heat resistance with any heat generated being diverted to the chips and coolant.
They have a 135° split point grinding tip for reduced drilling pressure and excellent accuracy.
