The Geberit Mapress Copper Adaptor Coupling is designed for connecting copper piping systems within press-fit applications, providing a reliable and leak-proof connection between different pipe sizes. This adaptor is ideal for potable water, heating, and cooling systems, where a strong, corrosion-resistant fitting is essential. Size-Specific Pressing Requirements: For optimal performance, pipes with a diameter of 14 mm should be pressed with a Geberit Mapress pressing jaw of 15 mm, while 16 mm pipes require an 18 mm pressing jaw, ensuring proper connection strength.
Dual Sealing System: Fitted with a CIIR black seal ring and an EPDM O-ring, the coupling provides double-sealing security to prevent leaks, even under high pressure and temperature variations.
Transparent Protective Plug: The pressing socket is equipped with a transparent protection plug, preventing contamination and damage during transport and storage, ensuring the fitting is clean and ready for installation.
