FloPlast Black Push-Fit Waste

The Floplast Black Push-Fit Waste System provides a quick and easy-to-install solution for waste drainage applications. Manufactured from polypropylene (PP), it features a secure push-fit ring seal system that eliminates the need for solvent welding, making installation faster and more convenient.

Designed for low and high-temperature waste discharge systems, this system complies with BS EN 1451-1 and BS EN 681, ensuring excellent durability, flexibility, and sealing performance. Available in 32mm, 40mm, and 50mm sizes, it is compatible with most domestic and commercial waste systems.

Preparation:

• Ensure that pipes and fittings are clean, dry, and free from debris.
• Cut pipes to the required length using a fine-toothed saw and remove burrs.
• Apply silicone lubricant to the ring seal for smooth jointing.

Assembly:

• Insert the pipe into the fitting, ensuring a secure push-fit connection.
• Check alignment before finalising the installation.
• Avoid excessive force to prevent damage to the sealing ring.

Expansion Considerations:

• Leave a 10mm expansion gap at each joint to accommodate thermal movement.

Support & Fixing Recommendations (BS EN 12056-2):

• Vertical runs: Secure at 1.2m intervals.
• Horizontal runs: Secure at 0.5m intervals for 32mm & 40mm, and 0.6m for 50mm
• Perform a water leak test before commissioning the system.
• Ensure all joints are fully seated and properly aligned.
