How and Where to Install a Gully Seal
Installation of the Fernco Universal Gully Seal is straightforward:
- Select the Correct Size: Choose the gully seal that fits the nominal socket size of the monolithic concrete road gully (200mm, 210mm, or 300mm).
- Prepare the Socket: Ensure that the socket in the road gully is clean and free from debris.
- Insert the Gully Seal: Place the gully seal into the socket of the road gully.
- Secure the Connection: Insert the DN150 pipe into the gully seal. The elastomeric material will conform to the pipe, creating a tight and secure fit.
- Test for Watertightness: Once installed, it's advisable to conduct a watertightness test to ensure the seal meets the required standards.
