Useful Info:

Saddle fittings are used to wrap around an existing length of pipe and enable branching off. This can be useful if you wish to divert flow from an existing pipeline in a new direction. You are not bound to using the join between two lengths of pipework as a saddle allows you to branch off virtually anywhere within a pipe system.
