Basic Fitting Guidelines:

Pipestock always advocate following the manufacturer's guidelines when installing pipe or pipe equipment. Here are some basic guidelines:

  1. After locating the area of pipe where you wish to use the fitting, prepare the clamp saddle, the bolts and the O-ring.

  2. Position the lower part of the saddle in the exact position you want it.

  3. After inserting the O-ring in its proper seat, position the upper part of the saddle and start screwing the bolts in.

  4. Screw the bolts in with the correct tools to make sure the saddle is tight to the pipe.

  5. Once secure, drill the pipe perpendicularly within the outlet space. Once the hole is complete, the threaded part is ready to be connected.

Useful Info:

Our single outlet clamp saddle is a great pipework product allowing for branching off from an existing pipework line or for adding in auxiliary pipe equipment.

The single outlet which this clamp saddle is manufactured with can be used either for the joining of a new length of pipe at a ninety degree angle to the existing pipe, or as an attachment for a piece of pipe equipment such as a pressure gauge.
