The Nylon Compressed Air Pipe, manufactured by John Guest, is designed specifically for air ring main applications in pneumatic systems. Nylon air pipe has a lower pressure range of 7-15 bar (temperature dependent) when compared to Aluminium Air Pipe (16-20 bar).
Pipe cannot be returned, no refunds or exceptions. This is due to the Bespoke, Physical and Technical characteristics of this industrial product. Please double-check your application and sizing, if in doubt call us, we are here to help.

Installation Instructions
Preparing for Installation: Understand that thermoplastics like nylon behave differently from steel pipes. They expand more, requiring a flexible method of installation to accommodate this expansion. Avoid constraining the pipe at both ends to prevent buckling and stress.
Mounting and Clips: Install the horizontal pipe clips first. Attach clips to vertical pipes only after applying a small amount of pressure to the system to ensure correct positioning. Nylon pipe work is lighter than steel, so the mountings need not be as robust. John Guest connectors simplify modifications without the need for solvents or adhesives.
Expansion Considerations: For long pipe runs, use an expansion bend to accommodate pipe expansion. Maintain approximately 10cm distance between the wall and the pipe around columns or pillars, and keep a 400mm distance between the fittings and the pipe clip.
Air Quality: To ensure clean, dry air at the outlets, which is vital for the performance and longevity of ancillary equipment, install a filter in the system and use John Guest Water Trap Tees to trap any condensate residue.
Choosing Pipe Size: Select the pipe and diameter based on the required flow and pressure drop. Refer to the provided flow rates for guidance, considering both nylon and aluminium pipe options.
