Why use a pipe chamfer tool?

Chamfering is an important part of the pipe installation process. The chamfer tool reduces the outside angle of the pipe wall and, assuming all sharp edges have been removed, will provide a more leak-free connection between the pipe and the fitting.

We would recommend that all pipe is chamfered before installation.
